Evening Fishing Cruise

This tour is operated by Hermes II.

Join a three-hour evening cruise from Tromsø. Along the way, you can enjoy views of the mountains and coastline, hear the story of Hermes II and try fishing from the boat.

A maximum of five or six fishing rods are used at a time to prevent the lines from becoming tangled. Guests take turns fishing so that everyone has an opportunity to try, regardless of previous experience.

During the cruise, you will be served a warm, traditional fish cake. If you catch any fish, the catch will be prepared on board and served with flatbread and butter. Coffee and tea are included, and snacks and soft drinks can be purchased on board.

From 18 May to 25 July, you may experience the Midnight Sun if weather conditions allow. The Midnight Sun and the day’s catch depend on natural conditions and cannot be guaranteed.

The boat has heated indoor saloons and two guest toilets. Thermal suits and blankets are also available.

Food and drinks: A warm, traditional fish cake is included. If you catch any fish, the catch will be prepared on board and served with flatbread and butter. Coffee and tea are included, and snacks and soft drinks can be purchased on board. Guests may not bring their own food or drinks. Exceptions may be made for young children and guests with allergies.

Please bring: Warm clothing, a warm hat, scarf, mittens and warm footwear

Meeting time and place: No later than 15 minutes before departure, directly beside the boat at pier 12 on the seaward side of Kystens Hus, Stortorget 1. The boat is called Hermes II

Please note: A maximum of five or six fishing rods are used at a time, and guests take turns fishing. The serving of freshly caught fish depends on the day’s catch. The Midnight Sun cannot be guaranteed. The cruise may be changed, rescheduled or cancelled in challenging weather conditions.
