Dalen Hotel is a fairytale hotel from 1894, in a sumptuous, romantic style and one of Norway's oldest wooden hotels, located only 400 m from the Telemark Canal.

Dalen Hotel - your fairytale hotel. This hotel is one of the few original Swiss style hotels. It was completed in 1894 with a magnificent foyer and dining room. This monument to the golden age of water-borne passenger traffic was reopened in the summer of 1992. Dalen Hotel is a true fairytale hotel, build in grand romantic style with dragonheads, towers and balconys. The hotel is open from April to October. The boats on the Telemark Canal sail between May and September.
