Short and relatively easy top trip to a great viewpoint over Nesbyen. Here it is beautiful to sit when the sun goes down over Hallingdal. The summit can be reached from a number of places, but here we describe the trip from the popular outdoor area Trytetjern.

Starting point: Trytetjern in Nesbyen

Klevarudnatten is one of the peaks used in the first geographical registration in this country. At the top there used to be a wooden tower used for surveying. The tower was demolished in 2015.

From the parking lot on the north side of Trytetjern you enter a forest road marked with a hiking sign. After a few hundred meters you reach an opening in the forest overlooking the whole of Nesbyen, as well as benches and information boards. This is Utsikten (The View). This is also the start of many of the popular "downhill trails" for cyclists in Nesbyen. From Utsikten you follow the path going north, up the ridge of the hill. From Utsikten it takes between 30 min - 1 hour to the top, depending on the pace. At the top you will find a mailbox with a ledger - remember to enter the census number.

You can also walk to Klevarudnatten from one of the many residential areas in the valley. The trails in this valley side are well marked. Visit the Nesbyen Tourist Office in the city center to get an overview map of the area.
