Mountains with a great view:

Dyna
13 km round trip, approx. 4 hours.
The hike to this popular mountain follows a good trail in birch forests and barren mountains. Some sections can be wet. From the top you have a massive view towards the mighty mountain range Hallingskarvet.

Åkrefjell og Trommenatten
14 km round trip, approx. 5 hours.
An easy and varied hike where you visit two of the most popular mountains in the area called Nesfjellet.

Vardefjell
14.5 km round trip, approx. 4 hours.
The highest mountain in Eastern Nesbyen offers a splendid view of distant mountains.

Walking with children:

Around lake Trytetjern
1.4 km round trip, <1 hour.
Super easy walking route around the idyllic lake. Suitable for small feet and with a pram. The trip preferably ends with a delicious swim in the lake!

Kvasshovda
3 km one way, approx. 1 hour.
This is one of the most easily accessible mountains with a good view in this area. Possible to use a bicycle on the first two thirds of the trip.

Hallingnatten
12 km round trip, approx. 4-5 hours.
Though children can climb the highest peak in Nesbyen! A beautiful hike from Imlan.

Walk in and close to town center:

Nesbyen round trip
4 km round trip, approx. 1 hour.
A nice walk thorugh the town of Nesbyen. The walk is signposted and follows quiet streets and hiking trails along the river. On this trip you can buy ice cream along the way!

Klevarudnatten
4 km one way, approx. 2 hours.
View point close to the popular bathing lake Trytetjern. Great place to enjoy the evening sun. Can also be hiked from Nesbyen town center.

Beia viewpoint
5 km round trip, approx. 2 hours.
Easy walk from Vadbru to the lowest view point on the path HallingSpranget. Perfect place for an overnight stay in a tent or hammock.
