Voluntary Euthanasia—A Question of Life, Death, and Dignity

Anne Cohen Kirah is a psychologist and anthropologist who teaches service design at Kristiania University College, where she invites students to redesign services before, during and after death.

Kirah is also a board member of the World Federation of Right to Die Societies. She has personal experience as a bereaved family member, having supported her mother when she was granted access to assisted dying in the state of Washington. Her father, however, was not granted the same option.

She supports an official inquiry into assisted dying and is certified in assessing individuals seeking assistance to end their lives, including complex cases requiring further evaluation.
