During the Stavanger Wine Festival, winemakers from across Europe, fantastic chefs and suppliers come to town. You won’t find any other city in Scandinavia with as rich a food culture as Stavanger. Stavanger enjoys a fantastic location right in the heart of Jæren’s culinary region, and the restaurants know how to make the most of this. All events have an age limit of 18 years.
The Wine Parade
The Wine Parade is the most popular event on the programme. Here, several hundred guests gather in Wine Parade groups across the city and make their way between restaurants and bars to sample wine and food.
The Lunch
All the restaurants taking part in Stavanger Wine Festival will come together to create the ONE lunch you simply must not miss. There’ll be wine tastings, and you’ll get to sample food from all the restaurants taking part in the festival.
The Surprise Dinner
The Surprise Dinner is a social event where, as a guest, you’ll get to know new people, food producers, winemakers and the festival’s 10 restaurants, all of whom are collaborating (and competing) to give you the best possible experience this evening.
Wine, beer and cider fair in the sunny street of Øvre Holmegate
Stavanger Wine Festival invites you to a wine, beer and cider fair in Øvre Holmegate. All the venues between Hotel Victoria and Gaffel & Karaffel will be filled with wine, cider and beer producers.
