Live podcast with Frode Helmich Pedersen and Jørgen Sejersted.



During this year’s Festival, several works from the German Romantic period will be performed. These include Schubert’s Winterreise and poems by Goethe, Friedrich Rückert, Wilhelm Müller and others set to music. In addition, several of the works performed address well-known literary themes such as ‘The Maiden and Death’ and ‘Tristan and Isolde’.



The Bergen Literature House’s own podcast, Lyrisk kvarter, hosted by Jørgen Sejersted and Frode Helmich Pedersen – both Professors of Nordic Literature at the University of Bergen – will present a special live edition to mark this year’s Festival.
