Maria Mena celebrates her 40th birthday and 25 years as an artist with a major Norwegian tour in 2026, taking the stage at Stavanger Concert Hall on 3 December.

2026 marks a double celebration for one of Norway's most beloved artists. Maria Mena turns 40 and at the same time celebrates 25 years as an artist. The anniversary will be marked with an extensive tour taking her across Norway.

Ever since she signed her first record deal in 2001 and broke through with “My Lullaby” in 2002, Maria Mena has given audiences a unique insight into her life and heart. Through nine critically acclaimed studio albums, including successes such as “Apparently Unaffected”, “Cause and Effect”, “Viktoria” and “And Then Came You”, Mena has established herself as a songwriter and performer of exceptional calibre.

Maria lives, writes and sings from the heart, with an ability to put words to thoughts and emotions — even those that many find difficult to carry and impossible to share.

Her talent has resulted in an impressive string of hits, including “I Don't Wanna See You With Her”, “Just Hold Me”, “You're The Only One”, “All This Time”, “It Took Me By Surprise”, “You Live And You Learn”, “Not OK” and the timeless classic “Home For Christmas”.

As an artist, Mena is known for her deep honesty and vulnerability. Her courage and uncompromising approach to her art, combined with her warm, empathetic and humorous personality, make her music feel both unfiltered and nuanced. Following a break in 2025, her 2026 tour will offer audiences the opportunity to experience Maria Mena's unique ability to connect and communicate live once again, while celebrating her long career and personal journey. The concerts will span her entire catalogue, delivered with the intimacy and closeness that audiences have come to love her for.

2026 will be a particularly busy year for Maria. Among other things, she will tour with the acclaimed Amsterdam Sinfonietta, performing 13 concerts in the Netherlands in January, and a live album will be recorded at Oslo Concert Hall in February.
