JONA // The Antique Shop

JONA will play at Antikvariatet in Trondheim on January 23rd:))

JONA doesn't ask about genre, she writes about what she wants to write about and makes the music that feels right there and then. The band's job is to take what JONA makes and make it better.
In 2024 they played several concerts in Oslo and Østfold, before being invited to play at a festival in a village in Germany, which quickly expanded into a mini-tour in Hamburg. That same year, the song "Collecting Tears" had a preview on NRK P1 and was nominated on P3 Urørt.

This year they are experimenting with new genres and music styles, and are well underway with an EP that will be released in 2026. This year has been hectic so far, with a release concert and the release of the songs "What Are?!?!" in March, "Who is They?" This summer, and recently “Yellow Kitchen Lights”, which was highly recommended and listed on New Music Friday Norway, Denmark and Iceland. Several concerts have been squeezed in between three rounds of the Emergenza festival, where after 15 bands and 11 long hours at Rockefeller they came away with a proud second place in the Norwegian final on May 16th!

Now they are looking forward to playing for you in Trondheim!
