Ine Hoem – The Land of Memories

10 ottobre 20:00-21:00

Ine Hoem is a Norwegian songwriter and artist with a voice that hits you right in the heart!

She was born and raised in Grünerløkka in Oslo, but has strong roots in Fræna in Møre og Romsdal, where her father Edvard Hoem comes from. In her music, she brings in elements from both modern folk pop music and the jazz universe. Heartwarming stories meet a modern singer/songwriter tradition in combination with a unique ability to communicate.

In recent years, songs like 'We don't need a garden' and 'I'll never go home' have been frequently played on Norwegian radio. The Christmas song 'Å, signa natt', which was a collaboration with her father Edvard Hoem, has become a favorite for many. For the past three years, she has toured with her father Edvard Hoem, marking herself as a unique communicator and storyteller.

Ine Hoem released her fifth album 'Minnelandet' in February 2025. When someone in Ine Hoem's immediate family began to forget, Ine felt the need to collect and write down memories to hold on to what should not be forgotten.

The result is the album Minnelandet, which is released in three chapters: Family, Love and Growing Up. The song 'Broren din' has been frequently played on the radio lately, and the duet with Trygve Skaug "Tenk at vi blei vi" became a new favorite among Ines' dedicated listeners.

"Minnelandet is a kind of concept album where I have looked back in time and retrieved stories and memories from my life up until now. I have tried to write lyrics that are deeply rooted in my own life, but that will also resonate in the listeners' own memories and stories. Eternal and universal themes such as family relationships, growing up, adolescence, love that disappeared and love that lasts. All of this is woven into a musical landscape developed together with my musicians," says Hoem.
