Donkeyboy is the synth-pop band from Drammen, delivering hit after hit since 2005. The band consists of brothers Cato and Kent Sundberg, together with Peter Michelsen and Thomas Drabløs – a crew who love big hooks, danceable beats, and instantly catchy melodies.
Their breakthrough came in 2009 when Ambitions topped the VG-list for 12 weeks, followed by their own follow-up Sometimes – a historic moment in Norwegian pop. Debut album Caught in a Life went triple platinum, and the band won three Spellemann awards that same year.
The following year, they received a Swedish Grammy for Best International Breakthrough. With songs like City Boy, Triggerfinger, and Crazy Something Normal, Donkeyboy have cemented themselves as one of Scandinavia’s most popular pop bands. Through the side project Rat City, Cato and Kent have also shown their talent for international hits outside the Donkeyboy universe. Recent months have seen several new releases, with more music coming in 2026.
Summer 2025 saw the band play major festivals to overwhelming response – and now they’re ready to fill Fiskepiren in Stavanger on 6th March 2026 with energy, sing-alongs, and pure Donkeyboy magic.
