Join Arnt Olav Klippenberg on a lively and entertaining journey through the history of Egersund. For many years, he has guided both tourists and locals on his popular “Lively City Walks”, known for engaging stories and light-hearted humour.
A brand-new route is now being launched with a strong focus on the Viking Age. The walk begins at Hedningholmen, where a pagan temple is believed to have stood during Viking times. From there, the tour follows the town’s development through the Middle Ages and all the way to modern-day Egersund.
Arnt Olav Klippenberg is a former journalist at Stavanger Aftenblad. Today, he works full time as an author, giving lectures and writing novels focused on the Viking Age.
