Lars Beckstrøm, songwriter and bassist of deLillos – the man behind several of the band’s most beloved songs – meets Jeff Wasserman, an award-winning songwriter with deep roots in American folk, americana, and bluegrass.

They met at a jam session in 2018 and immediately connected through a shared love of British and American folk music from the 1960s and 70s. What began informally quickly developed into a close songwriting collaboration, and eventually the album The Lost Pilgrims.

Here, deLillos’ melodic sensibility meets the American storytelling tradition in an acoustic landscape shaped by warmth, stillness, strong narratives, and melodies that linger. The music leans in, lowers its shoulders – and goes straight to the heart.

With nearly 70 years of combined experience, Beckstrøm & Wasserman deliver a rare, honest, and intimate folk concert. This is music that doesn’t shout - it stays with you.
