The village of Hosanger, as a church site and municipal centre, and especially the area around Mjøsvågen, has over the years had many licensed premises and dining venues.
Fjærå Sjøhus is located in premises that have previously been both a coffin factory and a boathouse, and is a family business run by father and son, Terje and Erlend Mjøs. They proudly carry on the village's tradition of welcoming visitors and locals alike. But in a new era, where Hosanger is increasingly visited by people from all over the world. Largely due to Kossdalsvegen and the 17 spectacular bends up the mountain pass at the end of the valley.
The premises on the ground floor, with original timber walls and maritime decor, where the 3-course dinner is served, is normally used for pub evenings, intimate concerts, pop-up dinners, private events and more. Fjærå Sjøhus has promised us an exciting menu featuring among other things langoustine and monkfish, and we hope as many as possible would like to join us for this year's 3-course dinner during Håsong.
