Hilde Louise Asbjørnsen is one of our most versatile artists; jazz chanteuse, songwriter, shoe player, cabaret artist and copywriter. She is often compared to legends like Marilyn Monroe, Edith Piaf and Billie Holiday.
As a musician, she has released 11 critically acclaimed albums; mostly with their own, but also with others their songs, both in English and Norwegian. Her latest issue, Red Lips, Knuckles and Bones, released via German Ozella Music, received brilliant feedback: Among other things, Dagbladet's Øyvind Rønning dice cast 5 and referred to it as "Elegant, sensual, smelling and invigorating pop jazz". Together with his eminent band, Hilde Louise delivers concerts that really sparkle.
In 2015, 2016 and 2017, Hilde Louise's self-written success solo production became The Lulu Show - Life is a dance on interest set up at several theater scenes in Oslo, as well as in Grimstad and Stavanger. The supply saw the dice roll 6 by Mona Levin in the Aftenposten and Hilde Louise won the Komi Prize as the Female Physician of the Year. The supply was translated into English and set up during the 2017 Edinburgh International Fringe Theater Festival, where it was rated 5/5 stars on BroadwayBaby.com.
Hilde Louise has long experience from the theater scene; most recently in the role of Emcee / Conference in the musical Cabaret in Oslo New in 2017 - the first time the role was played by a woman in a Norwegian performance! She has been on stage as Roxie Hart in Chicago, Mrs. Adelaide in Guys and Dolls and won the Komi Award for roles as Ulla in The Producers at Oslo New Theater in 2011. In December 2017 Hilde Louise made great success with Komikveld on Chat Noir together with starring Espen Beranek Holm, Lene Kongsvik Johansen and Bjarte Hjelmeland.
In 2018, Hilde Louise focused her focus back on her original drive; music. In addition to writing music for her new album, she participated in NRK's popular program Stjernekamp and continued her regular tradition of Christmas jazz tour.
