Paulsens Hotel has a unique old style design and atmosphere which is situated in the centre of Lyngdal; 1,5 hour drive from Kristiansand. The hotel has ten double-rooms, of which two has a seperate bathroom. The rest of the rooms share bathrooms in the hallway.

The residence leads you on a journey back to the 1800s, where you are served homemade food in an old retro atmosphere. Experience a comfortable night in the wrought iron bed that in years long gone by was occupied by the rich English "Salmon Lords" who chose the Hotel as their base duruing salmon fishing holidays.

The hotel welcomes business, weddings, baptisms, confirmations and meetings. You can also book an evening of food, drinks and entertainment. The hotel also organizes various events,  such as quiz shows, bingo and concerts.

Food and Dining
Food served at Paulsen's Hotel is Norwegian and Danish traditional food. Visit the cozy café on the ground floor, or attend a closed event. The hotel serves everything from delicious sandwiches, cakes and pastries to three-course dinner, all with appropriate drinks.
