Blåfjellenden is on the Frafjord moors with views down the beautiful Fidjadalen (valley). The cabin is popular with families and those looking for a short weekend getaway.
Blåfjellenden is so called due to the blueberries that grow wild and plentiful in the area. The cabin has 28 beds in total, 16 beds in the main lodge and 12 beds in a smaller cabin. In addition, both have loft areas for sleeping. The cabin is unattended (cooking facilities but no food).
With its central location the cabin has easy access to five hiking/cross country skiing routes from Eikeskog, Langavatn, Sandvatn, Flørli and Hunnedalen. The latter is only 7 km from Blåfjellenden and a pleasant manageable trek.
