On top of Flånebba there is a stunning view and on clear days you can see both the Grip of the sea and Snøhætta Dovrefjell. The route is well marked. The start of the trip is quite easy to walk, but there are some steep sections when you have passed the forest.
Drive highway 70 from Sunndalsøra against Kristansund to Ålvundeid, about 15 km. Before the river Ulvåa turn left at the sign marked Rødset farm. Drive 1 km on the farm road until you reach the parking before a stream.
After the parking you follow the trail for about 200 meters until you cross a stream and continue up through a pine field. The route is well marked. The start of the trip is quite easy to walk, but ther are some steep sections when you have passed the forest.
On top of Flånebba there is a stunning view and on clear days you can see both the Grip of the sea and Snøhætta Dovrefjell.
The trip to Flånebba can also continue on to Smisetnebba.
