Åndalsnes Camping is nestled in beautiful surroundings by the bank of river Rauma, 1.5 km from the centre of Åndalsnes. Our camp site is surrounded by majestic mountains, where the valley meets the Romsdalsfjord. Within short distance you find the great tourist attractions "Trollstigen" and "Trollveggen".

We have plenty of space for caravans, mobile homes and tents, and we also provide high standard cabins, basic cabins, rooms and apartments. In the reception building you will find our own little cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. Here you can buy beer, wine and food and also see sport events and other types of entertainment on a large tv.

As our guest you can enjoy quiet days in wild beautiful nature, perhaps combined with a bike ride in beautiful surroundings, stand up paddle board on the River Rauma or Istra, or maybe a wonderful canoe trip. We rent out the equipment you need. (Its not possible to rent dry/vet suits). Its also possible to experience great fishing in the fjord and mountain lakes nearby.

Days to remember!

Only a 45 minutes drive away from the camp site, up the scenic Romsdalen valley, the new climbing park Høyt & Lavt Bjorli offers hours with hillarious fun. This is a great experience for the whole family, with many routes of different difficulty gradings. In Romsdalen valley you should stop along the route on the many scenic places, like Trollveggen, Kylling Bridge, Slettafossen waterfalls.

Åndalsnes Camping is a perfect start point for day trips. From here we can recommend to take day trips to Geiranger, the Atlantic road, and Ålesund. If you are up to explore the islands on the west coast, or the great waterfall of Mardalsfossen and the mountains in the east, we can promise you stunning sceneries along the route in both directions!
