Tarda primavera in Norvegia: i raggi del sole finalmente inondano il paesaggio, costringendo la neve sulle montagne a ritirarsi silenziosamente e risvegliando i fiori dopo il loro sonno invernale. Inizia la stagione delle escursioni. Dopo un lungo inverno persone di tutte le età e condizione sociale escono all’aperto e vanno a fare trekking in montagna, lungo la costa o nelle foreste. Sei il benvenuto a unirti a noi in questa passione sfrenata per la natura.

Un panorama così vario, che spazia dai sentieri segnalati per le attrazioni turistiche più conosciute a favolosi paesaggi selvaggi e incontaminati, ha guadagnato alla Norvegia la meritata fama di maggior destinazione escursionistica in Europa. Alcuni esempi di itinerari classici (e impegnativi!) sono Preikestolen, Trolltunga, Galdhøpiggen, BesseggenRomsdalseggen.

Queste escursioni memorabili vengono fatte da persone provenienti da tutto il mondo e tendono ad essere un po’ affollate durante i weekend da metà giugno a fine luglio. Però se percorri questi sentieri durante la settimana incontrerai probabilmente meno gente e avrai più spazio tutto per te. Oppure puoi scegliere di venire quando il paesaggio si tinge di rosso, giallo e arancio, in tarda estate e in autunno. In questi periodi potrai goderti i magnifici panorami praticamente indisturbato.

    Ci sono anche escursioni facili - la maggior parte dei sentieri sono contrassegnati in base alla difficoltà - quindi assicurati di scegliere un percorso che sia adatto al tuo livello di preparazione. Ma sia che tu decida per una escursione impegnativa o una meno faticosa, puoi sempre renderti le cose più facili lasciando che ti guidino degli esperti. In tutto il paese guide esperte che conoscono la zona sono pronte rendere la tua avventura un’esperienza sicura e piacevole.

    Numerosi chalet e rifugi in legno in tutta la nazione offrono agli escursionisti un pernottamento comodo ed economico. Molti hanno uno standard piuttosto semplice, ma non sorprende trovare dei lodge con un design particolare - alcuni sono stati progettati da architetti d’avanguardia. E se cerchi un po’ di lusso non manca la scelta tra i grandi alberghi.

    Sicurezza in montagna

    Fai attenzione in montagna seguendo queste semplici regole:

    1. Organizza il tuo viaggio e informa qualcuno sul percorso che hai scelto.
    2. Adatta i percorsi programmati in base alle capacità e alle condizioni.
    3. Fai attenzione al tempo e agli avvisi delle valanghe.
    4. Preparati a maltempo e gelo, anche nei tragitti brevi.
    5. Porta le attrezzature necessarie in modo da poter aiutare sé stessi e gli altri.
    6. Scegli percorsi sicuri. Impara a riconoscere terreni franosi e ghiacci pericolosi.
    7. Utilizza una mappa e una bussola. Devi sempre sapere dove ti trovi.
    8. Non vergognarti di tornare indietro.
    9. Conserva le forze e cerca riparo, se necessario.
